Lakaz Mama ships Australia wide and abroad from our warehouse in Victoria.

We aim to have orders processed and dispatched within 3 business days of receipt.

Once an order has been placed a confirmation email will be sent outlining the products and delivery details.

 

Lakaz Mama uses a variety of road courier networks for standard Australian deliveries including Couriers Please, Toll, Direct Freight Express, Star Track and Australia Post depending on the destination.

The delivery service will be chosen automatically. You may request a specific carrier, please note that additional charges may apply.

 

Courier companies may vary for international deliveries.

When entering delivery notes, please be aware that these are ‘requests only’. We will do all we can to ensure your parcel is delivered safely and securely within reason. However, courier companies have self-imposed rules in place regarding entering private property. We will endeavour to pass your requests on to the relevant courier company.

Once the order has been packed and ready to be picked up by our courier partners you will receive a tracking number and your order will be delivered within the approximate time frames stated below:

If you are absent or otherwise unable to receive delivery, our courier will drop to a local collection point if available. You will then be advised by email, SMS or Card where to locally collect the item.

 

Otherwise, a card will be left advising the order has been returned to the courier’s depot – you must contact the courier within the stated time frame and either collect your order from that depot or arrange a return delivery when signature acceptance is available.

Express Delivery is available on checkout and calculated automatically by weight and destination.

Although we endeavour to have the order dispatched as quickly as possible, all estimated delivery times stated by our 3rd party couriers are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed by Lakaz Mama.

Please note that if “Authority to leave” is given the carrier may leave the parcel at the front door or in a safe place without knocking. 

 

You agree that the parcel is deemed received when left at your premises.

Lakaz Mama and contractors associated with the delivery do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage which results from this Authority to leave delivery method. You agree to release Lakaz Mama from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, losses, costs and expenses, including financial and other consequential losses, made, suffered or incurred by you or any other person or entity as a result of this Authority to Leave.

 

If you do not give Lakaz Mama’s carrier the Authority to leave your parcel, you will have to be at your premises for the delivery to occur, additional charges may apply to redeliver your parcel if no one is available to accept it.

If an item is out of stock, you will be contacted within that period advising you of any potential delay in the delivery of your order. If you find the delay unacceptable, we can offer alternative, similar products, a refund of the out-of-stock item or a refund of the entire order.

We strive to process orders quickly. If you wish to cancel or change an order, you should contact us immediately. If your order hasn’t yet been dispatched, we will try to accommodate your request.

Visa, MasterCard, PayPal accounts or using a Visa or Mastercard through Paypal are accepted through the secure checkout.

Lakaz Mama offers Free Standard and Refrigerated Shipping for orders over $150 for all retail client’s deliveries within Australia (excludes gift vouchers)

We do not offer Free Shipping for express orders.

Once your order is packed and ready for temperature-controlled dispatch, you will receive a tracking number. Our refrigerated courier service will ensure your order is delivered within the specified timeframes to maintain freshness and quality. 

If you are unavailable to accept the delivery, our courier will make one further attempt to deliver the refrigerated items directly to you. Should delivery still be unsuccessful, the parcel will be taken to a temperature-controlled holding facility, and you will be notified by email or SMS with instructions for collection. 

For perishable goods, it is crucial to arrange collection from the holding facility within the designated timeframe to avoid spoilage. Alternatively, you may contact the courier to arrange re-delivery, ensuring signature acceptance for secure handling.

a. Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. We will try our best to reduce the risk of the custom duties.
